By accessing and using NairaGig ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

NairaGig provides an online platform that connects freelancers with clients seeking professional services. Our services include:

• Job posting and bidding system
• Secure payment processing
• Messaging and communication tools
• Profile and portfolio management
• Challenge and competition features
• Sponsorship programs

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform
• Use automated systems to access the Platform
• Engage in any activity that disrupts the Platform

5. Payments and Fees

NairaGig charges service fees for transactions conducted through the Platform:

• Freelancers pay a percentage-based service fee on completed projects
• Clients may be charged fees for certain premium features
• Payment processing fees may apply
• Sponsorship fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
• All fees are subject to change with 30 days notice

6. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by NairaGig and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Users retain ownership of content they post but grant NairaGig a license to use, display, and distribute such content on the Platform.

7. Dispute Resolution

In the event of disputes between users, NairaGig may provide mediation services but is not obligated to resolve disputes. Users agree to first attempt to resolve disputes directly. Any unresolved disputes shall be subject to the laws of Nigeria.

8. Limitation of Liability

NairaGig shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to NairaGig in the past 12 months.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease. You may also terminate your account at any time through your account settings.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
